God is in charge of America. Not any man.

 Democracy isn’t from God.

Democracy is a man-made institution. It was first created as far as we know in Ancient Greece. There are arguments that it goes back as far as ancient Mesopotamia - Babylon.

Democracy is government “Of the people by the people and for the people.” This, at its core, is humanism. The elevation of man to be his own ruler.

When man is on the throne and not God, the Bible tells us there is wickedness and every evil thing.

Ancient Israel was supposed to be Gods’ chosen people. They were to be run by representatives that God chose. Prophets and later, judges. Because the people were wicked in heart the people, as people tend to do, rebelled.

The people of Israel demanded a king. And though the ruling prophet Samuel was grieved by this, God told him to anoint them a king. And do Samuel did.

The king God chose was Saul. (see

1 Samuel 8)

Saul was handsome and a head taller than everyone else. He “looked like” a king. He was the perfect king for this people whose hearts were so far from God that they wanted a human king over them instead of God as their king.

God had his purposes and He knew exactly what he was doing. He used Saul and his evil heart to prepare David to be the next king. David had the humbling and character-building experience of living in caves hiding from Sauls’ wrath for ten years. Eventually David came to the throne.

David wasn’t perfect but he was a precursor and forefather to Jesus Christ. He repented of his sins but he still paid heavily for them.

The fact that Saul and a king were not what God wanted are highlighted in this verse: 1 Sam. 12:12-13

12 “But when you saw that Nahash king of the Ammonites was moving against you, you said to me, ‘No, we want a king to rule over us’—even though the Lord your God was your king. 13 Now here is the king you have chosen, the one you asked for; see, the Lord has set a king over you.

They got the king they wanted, but he was a cruel king. And they were warned by the prophet who was told by God to warn them!

But when they said, “Give us a king to lead us,” this displeased Samuel; so he prayed to the Lord. And the Lord told him: “Listen to all that the people are saying to you; it is not you they have rejected, but they have rejected me as their king. As they have done from the day I brought them up out of Egypt until this day, forsaking me and serving other gods, so they are doing to you. Now listen to them; but warn them solemnly and let them know what the king who will reign over them will claim as his rights.”

Samuel told  all the words of the Lord to the people who were asking him for a king. He said, “This is what the king who will reign over you will claim as his rights: He will take  your sons and make them serve with his chariots and horses, and they will run in front of his chariots. Some he will assign to be commanders of thousands and commanders of fifties, and others to plow his ground and reap his harvest, and still others to make weapons of war and equipment for his chariots. He will take your daughters to be perfumers and cooks and bakers. He will take the best of your fields and vineyards and olive groves and give them to his attendants. He will take a tenth of your grain and of your vintage and give it to his officials and attendants. Your male and female servants and the best of your cattle and donkeys he will take for his own use. He will take a tenth of your flocks, and you yourselves will become his slaves. When that day comes, you will cry out for relief from the king you have chosen, but the Lord will not answer you in that day.

But the people refused to listen to Samuel. “No!” they said. “We want a king over us. Then we will be like all the other nations, with a king to lead us and to go out before us and fight our battles.” 1 Sam. 8

They STILL chose to have a king - like the heathen nations around them - anyway. Despite the consequences!

does this sound familiar? It sounds like theUSA to me and their demand for a man who will look good and represent them no matter how ungodly he is.

Some 400 years later after Samuel and David,  democracy was “invented” in Greece. Was it an institution of God?

No it never was. The Greeks were pagans and humanists.

We are not supppsed to be like them in any way.

In fact there can be made an argument from Romans 1 that the end result of humanism results  in dabauchery  and homosexuality. The worship of man. This is the precursor to a nation falling and we are at the doorstep of it.

And Thomas Jefferson, a product of the enlightenment, which was a product of the renaissance, revered the Greeks and everything about them.

Jefferson, like so many men from the renaissance forward, was a humanist. And so his magnum opus, the Declaration of Independence, reeks of humanism.

In the opening lines it speaks of “life liberty and the pursuit of happiness.”

Which is the precise opposite of what Jesus taught.

What jesus taught about life:

Those who seek to keep their life shall lose it

And

I AM the way the truth and the life. No man comes to the father except though me.

Jesus is the life. Not what the state promises you. Real life comes from God alone.

Here’s what the Bible says about liberty:

Whom the SON sets free is free indeed.

The next item is Liberty. Our idea of liberty in America is freedom to do whatever we want. But that’s not what liberty meant in the Bible. It meant freedom FROM sin, not freedom TO sin.

Freedom is so often used as a rallying cry to do whatever we please. This isn’t biblical freedom. And Paul is often twisted to try to justify carnality. But Paul specifically warned against this abuse time and again:

Galatians 5:13

For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.

1 Peter 2:16

Live as people who are free, not using your freedom as a cover-up for evil, but living as servants of God.

1 Corinthians 10:23

“All things are lawful,” but not all things are helpful. “All things are lawful,” but not all things build up.

Peter said

2 Peter 2:19 They promise them freedom, but they themselves are slaves of corruption. For whatever overcomes a person, to that he is enslaved.

False liberty enslaves people.

James 1:25

But the one who looks into the perfect law, the law of liberty, and perseveres, being no hearer who forgets but a doer who acts, he will be blessed in his doing.

Those who want to continue in their sin and are looking for an excuse to not DO anything will hate this verse.

The law of liberty sets us free to DO GOOD

instead of being enslaved to sin and evil.

Jesus said

Whom the son sets free is free indeed.

John 8:36

He was speaking about freedom from sin.  That is Christian liberty. Not license TO sin but freedom FROM sin.

Finally we have The pursuit of happiness- is that what Christians are to pursue? Their own selfish desires?

The Bible says we are to CRUCIFY THE flEsh.

Romans 12:1

I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship.

And Jesus said to seek first the kingdom of God and everything else will be added into you.

Amd that those who seek to save their life will lose it.

So much for life, liberty snd the pursuit of happiness.

Does it say a single thing in the constitution about Jesus? It doesn’t even say separation of church and state. Go look. It isn’t there.

Humanism is the veneration and even the worship of man. It is the belief that man can “pull himself up by his bootstraps” by enough hard work. It is the belief that if man works hard enough he can reach godhood. It is linked to evolution because evolution is the belief that man “created himself”. And it is linked to democracy and it’s cousin the republic because they too believe that mans highest authority is other men.

Democracies have never to my knowledge lasted more than 250 years. They always end in despotism. Why do you think this is? If it were ordained by God then surely they would last longer than that.

Because democracies and republics are human institutions with man at the top of the pyramid, they are flesh. As we know no flesh will inherit the kingdom of God.

Democracies are therefore a tool of Satan.

Many people who are supposed to be Christian will tell you you MUST VOTE. But I tell you if you vote for a mere man as your president (or “king.”  The founding fathers called it president instead of king to fool the common people into thinking he wasn’t a king), you are a party to his sins. (2 John 1:11)

We are to come out from among them.

And the weapons of our warfare are NOT of this world but mighty through GOD to the pulling down of strongholds.

Voting is a fleshly system.  It is not of God.

Commanding people to vote, shaming them if they don’t, is manipulation.

And manipulation is a fruit of darkness. It’s also linked to witchcraft. Which is trying to control people.

Gods purposes will prevail whether or not you or I vote.

God did indeed put trump in the White House. He put him there for judgment.

Watch as our fleshly system implodes due to pride and idolatry.

Any time you put a person in the place of God (or savior) he becomes an antichrist.

If trump believes his own hype watch out.

And watch out church. Because you have believed a lie and haven’t accepted the love of the truth. (2 thes. 2:10)

If you can’t see this you’re blind.

Wake up! Ask God to give you eye salve do that you may see.

James says if anyone lacks wisdom let him ask of God and he will give it liberally.

The problem is no one asks. Everyone believed they are already wise. They watch tv and believe everything it says and think they are wise.

But mans wisdom is foolishness with God.

If you don’t start with Gods wisdom as the foundation the entire house will fall.

This is partly what Jesus meant when he said a house divided against itself cannot stand. (Yes Jesus said that long before Abraham Lincoln quoted it)

If it’s at all possible that what I’m saying may be true, and that your salvation is in the balance, it would be in your best interest to ask God to show you of this is true.

I pray you do that right now.
