  Democracy isn’t from God.   Democracy is a man-made institution. It was first created as far as we know in Ancient Greece. There are arguments that it goes back as far as ancient Mesopotamia - Babylon.  Democracy is government “Of the people by the people and for the people.” This, at its core, is humanism. The elevation of man to be his own ruler.  When man is on the throne and not God, the Bible tells us there is wickedness and every evil thing.  Ancient Israel was supposed to be Gods’ chosen people. They were to be run by representatives that God chose. Prophets and later, judges. Because the people were wicked in heart the people, as people tend to do, rebelled.  The people of Israel demanded a king. And though the ruling prophet Samuel was grieved by this, God told him to anoint them a king. And do Samuel did.  The king God chose was Saul.   Ah. There’s a great question. Jesus said this in John 15: “If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you.” If you truly love and serve God (and not yourself, mammon, fame, etc) then the world shouldn’t love you. The world should HATE you.  This includes much of “Christianity,” much of which is completely apostate and teaching exactly the opposite of what Jesus taught. Now if you stand apart from the world, if you hate the sin of the world and of fake Christians who drag Gods name through the mud by their hypocrisy, and cry out against it, if you refuse to walk like the world and don’t partake in its sinful entertainments and occupations, or if you call out the fake Christians for their hypocrisy in acting exactly like the world, then they will hate you. The problem with America is not   Liberals. The problem is not cancel culture. The problem is not class warfare. The problem is not crime or evil corporations or the economy.   The problem isn’t even Joe Biden    or Donald trump.  All of these things are symptoms.  Of what?  Of God’s judgment on America.  The problem, my friend, is SIN.  In order for our land to be healed, it is GODS’ supposed people who    are supposed to REPENT. Not the world. Not the politicians. Not the gays or the liberals or any other group outside of The fold.
